A very helpful and accommodating staff, everyone was very kind. The room was wonderful and clean and the bathroom was spacious and nice. The breakfast was incredible.

This is a spectacular location for a place to stay in Ermoupouli. A gorgeous view of the water, right next to St. Nicolas church, from the front door literally across the street and down the steps to a lovely deeper water swimming area. Close to the main square and within truly easy walking distance of downtown. Maria the host, was helpful, friendly and caring, as were all the other employees who made our breakfast and cleaned the facilities. They provided beach towels for our treks to local beaches. Our room was comfortable, with a beautiful bathroom, and cooling air conditioning, along with nice little touches like excellent cosmetic amenities and a complimentary box with local treats. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Villa Selena was entirely worth it and the quality of the experience exceeded its price. The staff was unbelievably kind and helpful. The hotel is gorgeous and the rooms are incredibly comfortable and well-equipped. The hotel’s luxury quality is equally met with the sensation that you are at home, with kind and helpful staff at every turn and a kitchen that you can pop into at any time for a snack or a drink. We also loved how easy it was to go down to Astoria beach for a morning swim and then have our delicious homemade breakfast with one of the most beautiful views in the whole city.

This place is pure perfection. It’s right on the water, you go down some steps and jump in for a swim, but it’s also right in the best part of the town where everything is happening. It was spotlessly clean, my room was like a private wing of its own in the back of the villa and peacefully quiet. The common areas are so vast and beautiful and perfectly spaced out that I felt like I had a mansion to myself! I had a drink on the rooftop under the stars listening to the waves, felt like a dream. And the staff could not be any nicer. A perfect and unique getaway!

An aristocratic Syros mansion turned boutique hotel, made out with impeccable taste. Stunning views over the port and the Aegean from the common lounge and the front-facing rooms. Can't beat the location - minutes away from town center, and right on top of the Vaporia bar-restaurant, which is an attraction of its own. Various comparable outfits in the neighbourhood, but this one stands out.

Villa Selena is such a nice place to stay, it’s comfortable and we liked the views and decor. Maria is really nice and helped arrange a taxi from the port in the very early hours and was accommodating when our ferry off Syros was cancelled. The breakfast was really good!
